Mike Scioscia to Hold a Free clinic on 19 April in Thousand Oaks
 ABDG is proud to host the Mike Scioscia Youth Clinic every April at the Conejo Creek Ballpark in Thousand Oaks, California. 
Mike Scioscia, coaches, announcers and players from the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim come to provide a baseball clinic and autograph session for all ages.  The clinic is free to all and an excellent opportunity to learn and meet players and coaches at the MLB level.  Click here for more information...

Spring is coming and that means OJAI PONY BASEBALL!  Spring league sign ups are in full swing now!  We offer your child what no other baseball program offers through the PONY (Protect Our Nation's Youth) program:

Major League Baseball Rules of play
Structured guidance, instruction, and growth in the game of baseball
Competition based on your child's age and performance group level

Why cheat your child and ill prepare them for the future in recreational and scholastic sports competition?  Ojai PONY Baseball is the only REAL Baseball in the Ojai Valley.

What is "Rec-Ball"?
Rec-Ball is, first of all, a competitive league in which kids are challenged to do their best against kids in their same age group.

Kids play during the Spring to sharpen their skills, to learn more about baseball, to have fun, and for the love of the game. 

Coaches are involved because they love to teach the game and all that it has to offer to the kids, not only in a physical and emotional sense, but as it relates to life lessons.
 

In the younger divisions, players will be offered the opportunities to experience baseball as it is meant to be:

  • Ability to try new fielding positions and continue in them throughout the season

  • Learn multiple skills and drills for the spring

  • Everyone plays during the game!

This is a great time for parents to become involved with their children and their interests.

*Child must be age of division by, April 31, 2007. Birth Certificate is required
